Registration for the Upward Basketball Cheer 2023-2024 season is October 2, 2023 thru October 23, 2023. Spaces are limited so it is important to sign up soon!
Our goal is to promote the discovery of Jesus through sports. We believe all children should have the opportunity to be active, learn and have fun at the same time. We’re teaching kids sports skills, but also important life skills and of course about the role Christ plays in their lives. The Upward Sports program at Beech is a basketball with cheer program for children ages K5 through 8th grade.
Why Upward?
Upward Sports is a fun sports experience for both girls and boys in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our kids learn about healthy competition, good sportsmanship and skill-building while being exposed to the gospel.
- Each child will participate in one Evaluation Day where there skills will be assessed. This allows us to create balanced teams that are competitive.
- Upward features a unique substitution system which guarantees every child equal playing time.
- Our kids will learn athletic skills as well as Christian principles and values for success on and off the court.
- Each team will have one hour practices and games each week – meaning less of a time commitment than other programs.
Evaluation Days
Each child must attend one Evaluation Day for skills assessment and uniform fitting.
