At Beech Church, the Audit Committee is made of two parts.  The two parts are:

• fiscal
• facilities.

As with most audits, a primary responsibility of the Audit Committee is to ensure fiscal responsibility is being maintained.

However, this committee also includes a secondary part.  It  provides a facilities audit ensuring that specific signs are posted, certain medical supplies are available, and assistance devices are functional (such as the chair lift in the main building, and the elevator in the CLC).  While we do have each of these items annually inspected, the Audit Committee checks each of these routinely to ensure they are functional.
