Our Mission
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
At Beech Church, we are living for Christ in the world around us, to share the good news, and to serve those in need.
Our Beliefs
Beech Church is a Cumberland Presbyterian denomination and we believe that we are part of the Holy Universal Church. That means we join together with all who have made a covenant promise with God through Jesus Christ our Savior.
We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God.
Our Team
Meet the staff of Beech Church! Our team is led by Pastor Jeff DeWees, Minister and CEO. In addition to Pastor Jeff, we have a great team of support for Beech Church and our ministries.

Our Leadership
Beech Church is a Presbyterian Church. A Presbyterian Church is actually referring to the polity of Church governance, not the denomination. The Presbyterian form of Church government was developed in the 16th century during the Reformation. Our Church is governed by the session, presbytery, synod and general assembly. Beech Church is fortunate to have a 10 member Session that guides us.
Our Denomination
Beech Church’s denomination is Cumberland Presbyterian. This Presbyterian denomination was formed during the Second Great Awakening which began around 1790. With the Great Revival of 1800, the Cumberland Presbytery broke off from Presbyterian Church (USA).
We have congregations all over the world but the majority of our churches are located in the Southern United States. A large concentration of those being in Kentucky and Tennessee.

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen:
not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
“True faith rests upon the character of God and asks no further proof than the moral perfections of the One who cannot lie.”
“Now, God be praised, that to believing souls gives light in darkness, comfort in despair.”
